1796 S-81 R3. VG-8. Liberty Cap type. Rotated Reverse. Sharpness F12 with a few areas of microscopic porosity, mostly at the top of the head, and a couple minor rim bruises on each side. The only other significant mark is a short but rather strong struck-through line under AT in STATES. Rather glossy chocolate and olive brown with a hint of reddish chocolate toning at the top of the obverse. MDS, the reverse rotated 50 degrees CCW. The date is bold and the legends are strong except for the usual weakness inside the wreath.
