1794 S-51 R5-. Good-6. Close to VG7 but there are a few too many marks for the higher grade. These include a pair of old scratches left of the eye, a half dozen rim nicks on the obverse, and a couple small rim bruises on the bottom of the reverse. The planchet is smooth, free of any hint of corrosion or verdigris. Attractive glossy medium brown. The date is complete and clear and the legends are all readable, although the top of some of the reverse legend is fading into the rim. EDS, Breen state I.
