1794 S-38 R5. VG-8. Sharpness F12 with a few small rim nicks on the obverse and several rim bruises on the reverse, the strongest of these over the second S in STATES. The surfaces are decent but not perfectly smooth with faint roughness under the glossy light chocolate brown and darker olive patina. No verdigris. The date and legends are complete and easily readable, and the chips in the field under the cap are clear.
