Superb 1914 & 1915 National League Season Passes with Document. A pair of season passes for 1914 and 1915, the first in white and the latter in blue, both ornately engraved, issued to Thomas M. Jones and beautifully hand signed by National League president John K. Tener. Also included is the April 8, 1915 transmittal letter and mailing envelope to Jones from Tener on National League Professional Baseball Clubs stationery. The passes in excellent display condition and rare this nice.
John Kinley Tener (1863-1946) was a major league baseball player later serving as a Congressional Representative from Pennsylvania. He resigned from Congress having been elected Governor of PA, an office he held from 1911 to 1915 while simultaneously serving as President of the National League.
