Choice Netsukes and Small Okimonos in Ivory. Japan, c. 1920-1975. Seven of the carvings are netsukes, the rest are small okimonos. Most of the subjects seem to be immortals and deities -- rest everyday persons, including two finely rendered "geishas." All pieces exhibit especially fine carving and finish. Largest: 2-7/8". Lot of 11 items.
