Controversial cover art for the only album released by Blind Faith, an English blues group composed of Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, Steve Winwood, and Ric Grech. Chromogenic print, 20" x 16". Edition limited to 100, signed, titled, dated and numbered #1/100 with ink by photographer Bob Seidemann on front. Photographer's copyright stamp on reverse. Excellent condition.
When the album was released in August 1969 featuring a topless 11-year-old girl holding a silver space ship, a storm of controversy broke and Clapton had to fight to keep the cover; the U.S. record company issued it with an alternative cover which showed a photograph of the band on the front.
