Pink Panther Animation Cel Signed by Peter Sellers & Friz Freleng. An original 8¼" x 10½" animation cel painting from the weekly NBC-TV series, "The Pink Panther," signed by Friz Freleng and Peter Sellers in black marker. Freleng (1906-1995) was a four-time Academy Award winning animator, cartoonist, director, and producer, best known for his work on Warner Bros.' Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons. Freleng and David DePatie (DePatie-Freleng Enterprises), produced "The Pink Panther Show" which aired from 1964-1971. Peter Sellers (1925-1980) was an English comedian best known for his role as the bumbling Inspector Clouseau; he appeared in five Pink Panther movies between 1963 and 1978. A wonderful Pink Panther memento.
