(Vice Admiral Bernard F. Roeder) Korean Award. 11¼" diameter brass with an anchor in cast brass and an eagle and star in nickeled brass affixed to the plate, engraved above: Vice Admiral Bernard F. Roeder, USN Commander Amphibious Force, Pacific Flic Fleet," and below: "Presented by Lietuenant General Kong, Jung Shil Commandant, Republic of Korea Marine Corps 24 September 1965." There are Korean figures on each side, as well. A hook is attached to the back for hanging and a tassel hangs from each side. Vice Admiral Roeder commanded the First Fleet from 29 July 1966 to 30 September 1969.
