Small French Pocket Box-Lock Flint Pistol, c. 1780. This pistol has a 1.5".50 calibre round iron barrel. The iron frame is engraved with panoplies of arms. The stock has a chip missing at the upper right edge of the frame tang. Scrolled silver wire is inlaid into the stock, with approximately 60% remaining. Overall, the pistol has a nice untouched chocolate brown patina and is in good working order.
