South Korea. Pair of Military Medals to USA Lt. General Sammet, Missile Command. Two Medallic Award Plaques to Colonel and Brigadier General George Sammet, Jr., later Lt. General.
1) Bronze & multi-color enameled 11.75 inch diameter circular medallic plaque to Sammet as Colonel and Commanding Officer of the 4th U.S. Army Missile Command 1963-64 in Korea. The central missile "patch" is surrounded by eight distintive insignia in colored enamel. With reverse hanger.
2) An 11 inch diameter circular bronze medallic plaque for meritorious service with South Korean forces as Brigadier General and Senior Advisor, from Korean Lieutenant General Lee Min Woo, Commanding General 5th ROK Corps. Center design of ancient and modern Korean buildings and monuments. With tassel hanger. Both Very Fine or better, with engraved naming to Sammet. 2 pieces.
