Very Rare WW I Aircraft RPM Guage. 4.125 inches wide by 2.125 " thick, marked on the black face "R.P.M. IN HUNDREDS AVIATION SECTION SIGNAL CORPS U.S.ARMY TYPE A." On the back the maker's name "National Cash Register Co. Dayton Ohio U.S.A." and serial number 004572. Also includes the cable connetor elbow made by "The Avon Tool & Mach. Co. Dayton, Ohio." Both show wear and light paint chipping, otherwise in good condition and very difficult to find.
