USA. Gold Medal of the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America by Bailey, Banks & Biddle. A nicely made WW 2 era specimen of this well known hereditary society medal, marked on reverse on the back of the eagle "B.B.&B 14K" and named in finely engraved script "Florence P Harris Wofford No. 583 1941". On the original brooch and ribbon, this frayed at the top fold, otherwise Choice Nearly Mint State with excellent enamel.
