A 1783 document giving power of attorney to Keene Stables in order to obtain payment from Edmund Burke (Paymaster General of His Majesties Forces) for the services of Sir Alexander Cuming, " a reduced Captain of the General Holmes's late Regiment of Marines," 13" x 8", 1 July 1783. Fine. On laid paper with embossed 1-shilling 6-pence British Revenue stamp and with personal crest seal of Sir Alexander Cuming.
