1916-S $20 St. Gaudens. PCGS graded MS-65. A well struck gem with lovely pale golden mint bloom colors. Fully lustrous -- an important and rare feature for this typically well preserved issue -- the surfaces display dominant color. In order to understand the grade further, notice that it is struck with care only now and then found, when it comes to the usual softness at the centers on some dates in the series, this piece, on the contrary, received a full blow by the dies (PCGS # 9169) .
