1882-CC $10 Liberty. NGC graded AU-58. Untoned with semi reflective fields and ample luster remining at the rims and within the devices. Only 6,764 struck. A nice strike and a boldly struck nearly Uncirculated example. The borders are dominated by frostiness, which also traces across the devices on both sides as explained. A few marks in Liberty's hair but almost none on the face; much superior than most in this department. The low mintage ensures that this Carson City issue will always be a favorite with collectors.
