Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III, the Great, 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (17.09 g), Side mint, struck c. 325-320 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin. Reverse: Zeus enthroned left, holding eagle; to left, wreath; with ΔI below throne. Price 2949. Sharp strike, with faint russet toning. Very stylish! Nearly Extremely Fine.
