1907 $2.50 Liberty. NGC graded Proof 64 Ultra Cameo. A blazing bright example. Only 154 proofs minted. More often than not well frosted on the key devices for the issue, as seen here, the rippling mirror surface below is nearly gem level with few distracting hairlines plus only a single small toned area below the ear. Far in advance as the surface preservation goes, so too are the designs: Fully struck in all areas with pinpoint detailing on the portrait and eagle, the stars and all legends.
