1865 Liberty Seated Dollar. NGC graded Proof 66 Cameo. A well struck white gem. Struck from an original Proof mintage of just 500 pieces comes this gleaming, cameo-frosted specimen. The brilliant surface and lack of distracting blemishes allows full play for the '66-quality mirror field and contrasting devices; collectors will appreciate the coin's beauty. Very appealing. And where the devices are satin frosted in finish, the fields are nice and reflective, watery in their shine. As with other Proofs made this year, the coin is fully struck from carefully made dies.
