Lot 2817

1919-S Liberty Walking Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64. A far better than average struck example that shimmers with intense mint luster. A blast white example that has a wonderful fresh appearance. It is easy to see this scarce 1919-S half dollar was delivered a nearly complete blow by the dies, with only minor soft detail on the upper leg and thigh of Liberty and simultaneously at the central area of the eagle's body, sharp everyplace else. Pop 56; 48 finer with 37 in 65, 11 in 66 (PCGS # 6579) .
Estimated Value $10,000 - 11,000.
