1834 Capped Bust Half Dollar. NGC graded MS-63. O-109. Fully lustrous with light natural antique toning resting in the protected areas, giving the coin an aesthetically appealing look far in advance of many others in this period. Type Set buyers will want to consider this one. On this handsomely made die pairing, stars 8, 9 and 10 are recut, while on the reverse, horizontal lines show between the vertical stripes. One of the best fashioned 1834 halves with its finely balanced date, star and letter punches.
