1807 Capped Bust Half Dollar. Large stars, 50 over 20. PCGS graded AU-58. O-112. R1. Well struck for this date. Untoned and very lustrous. On this variety, star 1 points between segments at the rim. The stars are large and well formed, and are placed close to the milling. On this later variety (after the reverse was used with O-111's obverse), the fragment of 2 below the 5 in the denomination is very weak but still visible to the naked eye due to the coin's choice grade. Pop 15; 24 finer (PCGS # 6086) .
