Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III, the Great, 336-323 BC. Gold Stater (8.58 g), Aradus mint, struck c. 328-320 BC. Helmeted head of Athena right, griffin ornament on helmet right. Reverse: Nike standing left, holding wreath in right hand, stylis in left; caduceus at left; AP monogram lower, by feet. Price 3331. Finely centered and struck, in excellent style. With residual luster. Attractive coin! Extremely Fine.
