1870 Indian Head Cent. PCGS graded MS-63 Red & Brown. Another choice red and brown cent, this time a scarce 1870-dated piece. After large mintage in 1860-65, coinage levels fell, no doubt from an abundance of cents in storage at the Treasury (PCGS # 2098) .
