1854 N-22 R4. NGC graded MS-65 Brown. Lustrous light bluish steel brown with at least 10% of the mint color remaining. Covered with satiny mint frost that extends to even the highest points of the design. A dull nick on star 1 and a speck of carbon left of the U in UNITED are the only defects, and they are trivial. Nicely struck EDS, die state a. The die line off the right top of the 4 is sharp and several unpublished fine die lines are visible below the date as well. EAC grade MS63. Tied for CC#5 for the variety and tied for CC#2 of the die state. The attribution is noted on the NGC label.
