Lot 2250

1835 N-2 R3 Head of 1834. AU-50. Glossy dark olive brown with frosty faded mint red remaining in protected areas. The surfaces are satiny and the eye appeal is excellent. The only marks are a couple tiny ticks just right of the date and a few more barely visible ones at the jawline. MDS. Very shallow low spots caused by debris on the die extend from the C in CENT to the left side of the O in ONE (as seen on the Wright plate coin). An important cent, in the lower half of the condition census.
Estimated Value $750 - 1,250.

Realized $891
