1816 N-2 R1 Rotated Reverse. MS-60. Lustrous light olive and steel brown with bluish steel overtones on the reverse and a hint of reddish chocolate toning on the cheek. No spots or marks. Late die state with rim cud breaks from star 8 down nearly to star 11 with an additional rim cud break between stars 11 & 12. The reverse is rotated 45 degrees CW from the normal head-to-foot die orientation. The browlock is weakly struck, as usual for this variety, but everything else is sharply impressed. A nice example of this Randall Hoard variety.
