1798 S-172 R2 Style II Hair with Small 8. VG-8. Sharpness F12 with very fine roughness covering much of the planchet and a few shallow pitmarks mixed in as well. The pitting is mostly located at the rim over TES OF, and many of the pitmarks contain greenish verdigris. Otherwise free of marks or other defects. Rather glossy chocolate brown, darker in protected areas and lighter on the highpoints. The date and legends are complete and strong.
