Lot 1329

1916-D Barber Quarter Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64. A hint of light toning. And another very chocie example that should attract buyers. The Mint was about to introduce the new standing Liberty design this year, and had no intentions of striking Barber quarters after 1915. However, an emergency order was placed for a large number of this denomination, and so Denver and Philadelphia struck the issue (PCGS # 5674) .
Estimated Value $400 - 425.

Realized $506
