1797. George Washington, Bronze Sansom Medal. 40.8 mm, 406 grains. Baker 71a. Mint State 63 glossy reddish-brown surfaces. From the original dies, identifiable by the relation of "Q" in RELINQ to the line on the reverse. This is an R-6 medal engraved by John Reich for Joseph Sansom, a Philadelphia merchant.
