1811 Classic Head Half Cent. . C-2 R3. Fine-15. Sharpness near VF30 but covered with fine granularity under a slightly glossy dark olive and steel patina. There are traces of very shallow scale in protected areas of the reverse but no significant verdigris. The only mark is a dull rim bruise at star 6. LDS, Manley state 2.0. The die clashmarks are clear. The left edge of the reverse is weakly impressed, as usual on this variety, but everything else is well struck.
