1802/0 Overdate 2 over 0. Double Struck. . C-2, R3. About Good-3. Sharpness VG10 or so but covered with uniform moderate corrosion. No verdigris or contact marks, but the roughness blurs the details. Slightly glossy dark olive. Double struck. The initial impression was properly centered on the planchet but the planchet failed to eject completely and a second strike shows clearly 90-95% off center to the left of the lower curls and at STAT on the reverse. The OF and dentils from the second strike show clearly where STAT would have been. The date and legends remain readable in spite of the roughness.
