Russia. Alexander I, 1801-25. 1814 Medal in White Metal, 42.7mm, signed "W". For the Visit of Alexander to England. Diakov-384.3, wherein that author attributes this medal to T. Wyon. In British Historical Medals Vol. I, author Lawrence Brown credits the piece, his no. 849, to J. Westwood listing it as RR in white metal. Scattered contact marks in the fields and holed at the top for suspension; Very Fine and very rare.
