Great Britain. Penny, 1797. Peck-1133. George III. Large laureate draped bust of King right. 10 leaves. Reverse: Britannia. Large incuse lettering. This is a scarcer variety of the large currency 'cartwheel' penny - the first British copper penny, and a one year type coin. This example has abundant original color and a pleasing mint sheen. NGC graded MS-64 Brown.
