Obverse, head of Charles IV of Spain countermarked with oval portrait of George III. Legend CAROLUS IIII DEI G. Reverse: Crowned shield of arms. The countermark is incredibly sharp for this scarce issue- probably the nicest we have seen. And the original (host) coin has a good degree of original luster. NGC graded EF-45.
