Diocletian, 284-305 AD. AR Argenteus, Antioch mint, struck c. 294 AD. Very rare. Laureate head right. Reverse: Four Tetrarchs sacrificing over tripod before city enclosure with four turrets. RIC 31 (R4); RSC 427a. Sharp, clean strike; the portrait in high relief. Lightly toned and lustrous. Extremely Fine.
