Hadrian, 117-138 AD. AE Dupondius, Rome mint, struck c. 128 AD. Radiate head right. Reverse: Hilaritas stands left, holding palm and cornucopia, a little boy and girl stand at her feet. RIC 974; BMCRE 1377; C. 820. Numerous old cleaning marks in the fields, and likely some tooling to parts of the reverse inscriptions. Glossy black-brown patina. Nearly Extremely Fine.
