Lydia, Kings of. Time of Cyrus to Darius I, c. 545-520 BC. Gold Stater (8.04 g). Confronted foreparts of lion right and bull left. Reverse: Two incuse punches of unequal sizes. SNG Cop. Suppl. 362; Traité I 401; SNG von Aulock 2875. Very well centered on oval flan, with nearly complete devices. Sharp and brightly lustrous. A very fine example! Superb Extremely Fine.
