Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III, the Great, 336-323 BC. Gold Stater (8.61g), Aradus mint, c. 333 BC. Helmeted head of Athena right, lion-griffin on helmet right. Reverse: Nike standing left, holding wreath in right hand, stylis in left; thunderbolt by right wing tip. Price 3461. High relief devices, fully and sharply struck up. Soft to matte luster. Interesting "Oriental" style. Essentially Choice Mint State, but some Finder's marks, mostly on obverse.
