1882, $50 Gold Certificate. PCGS Very Fine 20. . Fr-1194. . KL-699. Less than 30 examples of this Gold Certificate $50 are known, and this example is as nice as all but a handful. It has bold colors, especially on the all-important golden-orange back, and the eye appeal is far above average for the grade. A few closed pinholes are present, otherwise the note is problem-free.
