1897-S $20 Liberty. NGC graded MS-64. Untoned. Intense but still satiny frost, with only a few light contact marks, a soft golden color through which brighter gold radiance persists almost undiminished. A dampened impression is rarely found on 1897-S twenties and true to form, than being halfhearted, this particular coin's design is boldly crisp. Pop 223; 18 finer, 17 in 65, 1 in 66 (PCGS # 9032) .
