Lot 1765

1895-S $20 Liberty. PCGS graded MS-64. Nice even light golden toning. A mark on the obverse at Liberty's cheek and chin, otherwise this coin should be a gem. Well struck and choice. Take a minute to pause and scan your vision across the surface: Luster everywhere, and swirling, satin-fresh. We are in a sympathetic mood with all the unsuccessful bidders once this fine piece sells to the highest bid. For in this case, as in the other S-mint twenties from the group of choice specimens in the sale, there are few available for the ever-expanding number of collectors. Pop 119; 5 in 65, none finer at PCGS (PCGS # 9028) .
Estimated Value $4,500 - 5,000.

Realized $3,220
