1895 Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 63. Only 880 Proofs struck. This date only comes in Proof. Popular key date Morgan dollar. Well struck with even grey toning. An exceptionally choice Morgan whose color is all original. There are a few wispy hairlines in the fields which require magnification to see. In short, a lovely, carefully preserved example of this historic rarity in American numismatics, and a very pleasing Proof that competes gallantly against even some higher grade specimens offered recently. Of the silver dollars that were sold in Proof sets this year, many were undoubtedly mishandled, others later spent or lost. Pop 65 (PCGS # 7330) .
