1879-CC Morgan Dollar. Capped die. PCGS graded MS-63. Frosty and untoned. Brilliant with frosty white devices and a no sign of a reflective sheen found on a number of the prooflikes this year. We do note a small area on Liberty's cheek where the luster is lightly touched by bag-contact with others in the bag; the reverse is especially attractive, virtually pristine. Struck from a die in which the mintmark is overpunched, resulting in a slightly blurred appearance (PCGS # 7088) .
