Lot 1352

1874-S Trade Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64. Nicely toned. A frosty coin radiating choice mint glow on from the surfaces. A touch of weakness is seen at Liberty's shoulder and breast area as well as the eagle's leg and claw, but here it is probably that the dies were spaced just far enough apart to prevent stronger metal flow in these deepest recessed areas, a characteristic of the Trade dollar design. Pop 22; 1 finer in 65 (PCGS # 7036) .
Estimated Value $4,000 - 4,500.

Realized $3,680
