Lot 1008

1935-S Buffalo Nickel. PCGS graded MS-67. Splendid steel blue toning on both sides. A coin bursting with silvery afterglow, fresh and blazing in appearance. The surfaces are clear of marks. Unlike the general run of dates in the 1930s from the branch mints of this caliber, the strike is thoroughly convincing in all places, even where some weakness is usually found at hair braid and on the bison's head. Pop 27; none finer (PCGS # 3976) .
Estimated Value $5,000 - 5,500.
