Three First Day Covers, one signed by Terence Cardinal Cooke on 4 Apr. 1968, the day he was installed as 7th Archbishop of the Archdiocese of New York, succeeding Cardinal Spellman; the cover has an image of Jackie Kennedy and President Johnson at the reception. The second FDC is a rare 1968 Christmas cover holding the signatures of all ten American cardinals at that time, including Cardinal Cooke. The third is a souvenir cover of Pope Paul VI's visit to Samoa in 1970, signed by the pilot of his plane, Capt. A.G. Shearer. All very fine.
