Two Original Postcards From the 1st Modern Art Show In America. From the exhibit held at the 69th Regiment Armory at 25th St. and Lexington Ave., New York City, Feb. 18-Mar. 15, 1913. Postcard with a typed message about figuring out the "puzzles" in Marcel Duchamp's "King and Queen Surrounded by Nudes," which is reproduced on the card; some toning and soiling. The unused postcard has Picabia's "Danse à la Source"; toning and a couple of creases at top. Cards from this show are rare.
