(Normandy Beach) Wooden Sign Warning For Mines. 14½" x 19¾" Sign with warnings in German and French, "Achtung Minen!" and "Attention aux Mines!" printed at top and bottom, with a skull and crossbones between. This sign was picked up by an American soldier, James A. Long. Mr. Long wrote his name and address in pencil on the left side, and on the right side, he wrote, "From Normandy, France." An unusual piece of World War II memorabilia.
