1812 Capped Bust Half Dollar. AU-55. A lovely and exciting coin, LIBERTY is strongly clashed in the shield lines and below to the right quite clearly. A touch of rub on the highest curls, just like all the so-called mint state coins we see. Frosty luster in the fields, well struck and very nearly new.
