1852 Braided Hair Half Cent. First Restrike. Proof 61 First Restrike. Breen-2, Low Rarity 5. First Restrike. With a tiny lint mark between stars 2 and 3. Glistening light golden steel color with some iridescence on the reverse. Under high magnification almost invisible hairlines can be seen throughout the left obverse field. Some minor carbon is noted for the sake of accuracy. A very attractive half cent. ANACS graded PF 62 brown, but broken out of the slab.
